The Building Blocks: Strategies for Inclusion Workshop is a two-day interactive workshop for early childhood educators and related service providers. The workshop promotes self-directed discovery and collaborative problem solving. The training modules provide the framework and tools, but the participants are encouraged to tap into their existing resources and build their own solutions to inclusive child care in their community.
Child care programs are busy places with dedicated staff who have a limited amount of resources including money, time and energy! For inclusion to work, the solutions must be practical, inexpensive and simple to implement. Often the answers are at our fingertips, if we are willing to examine new situations systematically and in partnership with others.

Building Blocks: Strategies for Inclusion responds to early childhood educator's challenges with a common sense approach to day to day programming and problem solving.

making inclusion work. Discussion will take place around
common administrative challenges
that inclusive programs face.
