Join us at our 25th Anniversary Family Picnic
Saturday September 25th
11:00am-2:00pm
St. Mary’s “The Oaks”, 5920 Gorsebrook Avenue, Halifax

How to Find Us:  South on Robie Street, just after St. Mary’s University at the very end of the Street to the left.  There is a parking lot near the end of Robie Street or street parking is available.
Details: This annual event is a great way to relax with your family, enjoy a picnic lunch, meet other families, and have fun! As this is our anniversary, we invite ALL who have had a connection with the Progress Centre over the past 25 years! Families, staff, board members, volunteers, students, community partners, sponsors…all are welcome. Please RSVP to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. “The Oaks” has a large grassy open space for the children to play, and we have access to the kitchen and washroom areas of the house.  There will also be an accessible port-a-potty on site. 
Progress Centre provides the hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks.  We also have free face painting, activities for the children and a visit from a very special surprise guest friend.

Note:  Sunday, September 26th is the Rain Date
If the weather is doubtful call 423-2686 and press 0 (listen carefully to the recording) or check us out on FaceBook for an update.  Note there will be no staff on site at Progress Centre Saturday or Sunday to return your call.
Bring a blanket or chairs to sit on, sunscreen and hats.  FAMILIES ARE ASKED TO CONTRIBUTE A SALAD, DESSERT, FRUIT, OR VEGETABLES, ETC. IF POSSIBLE.
Due to safety reasons: please, no dogs (unless a service dog) or balloons and we remind parents you are responsible for the safety of your little ones at the picnic.
